A three bedroom detached country house with pool in terraced garden    -     Andalucia, Southern Spain

Located on the outskirts of the village of Bubion, with south facing terrace with views of mountains and down the Poqueira valley as far as the Mediterranean, the house is full of character, with beams and large, spacious rooms. Comfortably furnished, it sleeps 6/7, and is situated between the ancient white villages of Bubion and Capileira, high up in the Alpujarras (1350m above sea level). 

The snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains, the highest in Spain, are a spectacular backdrop to the villages. 
Mulhacen and Veleta, the main peaks, are over 3400m. The area is a Natural Park and offers wonderful scenery, walks, peace and tranquility. 

Bubion, 5 minutes walk, and Capileira about 15 mins (2km), are lively but traditional villages, with plenty of shops and restaurants. It is a wonderful base for exploring the area or ideal  just to sit, relax and enjoy the pool and the surroundings.
